A prayer mahfil and food distribution were held among orphans to pray for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
On Sunday, November 30, a prayer mahfil and food distribution was held at the Nawani Darul Koran Hafizia Orphanage in Santhia, Pabna, organized by the Santhia Upazila National Citizen Party (NCP). The prayer mahfil was presided over by NCP district committee member and upazila chief coordinator Bakul Hossain, and was addressed by Santhia Municipality Jamaat Ameer Hafez Maulana Abdul Gafur, municipal BNP president Abdul Karim, NCP district committee member, upazila committee joint coordinator and Santhia Press Club president (acting) Md. Faruk Hossain, Santhia Upazila Committee ACC president Joynul Abedin Rana, Upazila Workers Welfare Federation president Mostafa Kamal Manik.
NCP district committee member and upazila joint coordinator former councilor Abu Daud Fakir, municipal Jubo Jamaat president Nazrul Islam, NCP district committee member Zahurul Islam, NCP district committee member Manik Biswas, orphanage teachers and about a hundred orphan students were present.
At this time, the speakers said that the previous fascist government had imprisoned Begum Khaleda Zia for a long time in a false case out of political revenge, making her physically even more ill. She was kept in such an environment without being given the opportunity for proper treatment, which worsened her physical condition. They said that Khaleda Zia's family had appealed many times for her to be treated abroad, but the government ignored it. The countrymen believe that fascist Sheikh Hasina has behaved inhumanly towards Begum Khaleda Zia out of revenge. Although there have been conspiracies to minus her from politics at various times, they have not succeeded. Because, Begum Khaleda Zia has always been relevant in Bangladeshi politics and the nation has always trusted her uncompromising leadership.
All the participants in the prayer mahfil wish for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia. With the mercy of Allah and the prayers of the countrymen, she will recover quickly and return to the nation.
