Kaliganj Police have arrested Nazrul Islam Molla (50), the office secretary of the Upazila Awami League, accused in a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act in Kaliganj, Lalmonirhat.

He was arrested from the Alsia Bazar area of Tushbhandar in the upazila on Sunday (November 30) afternoon. The arrested Nazrul Islam Molla has served as the former cultural secretary of the Upazila Awami League for a long time. He is the son of the late Refaz Molla of Bairati Hazirhat area of Tushbhandar Union.

Kaliganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Zakir Hossain confirmed the arrest and said that Nazrul Islam Molla is an accused in a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act. He has been arrested in that case. He will be sent to jail through a learned court.
