Hafsa's family organized a press conference to call for a swift investigation into the rape and brutal murder of Hafsa, as well as the immediate execution of the accused.

The press conference took place at the Pabna Press Club auditorium on Sunday, November 23, at 11 am.

During the press conference, Hafsa's parents expressed their demand for the execution of the individuals who heinously raped and murdered their daughter, along with the apprehension of the other suspects. The father claimed that the accused were relatives of Ayub Sardar, Councilor No. 9 of Pabna Municipality, who allegedly attempted to conceal the situation and was making efforts to protect his relative.

He reiterated this accusation regarding the leadership of the Pabna student movement and the threats made against Sumaiya Hasan Pushpita, Senior Joint Member Secretary of the National Student Power NCP student organization, at the police station, documented under GD No. 1355. The press conference called for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators in both cases.
