FIFA has officially announced the nominees for the prestigious "The Best FIFA Football Awards," recognizing top performances across multiple categories over the past year. The nomination list covers the Men's and Women's Player of the Year, Goalkeepers, Coaches, the Best XI, and the Fan Award.

The French forward for PSG, Ousmane Dembele, has been placed in contention for two FIFA Player of the Year titles. This nomination follows his stated win of the separate Ballon d'Or award, where he reportedly competed fiercely with Barcelona's Lamin Yamal.

FIFA's Best (Men) Usman Dembele, Ashraf Hakimi, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, Nuno Mendes, Cole Palmer, Pedri, Rafinia, Mohamed Salah, Vitinha, Lamin Yamal

FIFA's Best (Women)

Sandy Baltimore, Nathali Born, Aitana Bonmati, Lucy Bronze, Mariona Kaldenti, Temwa Chawinga, Kadiyatu Diani, Melsi Dumorne, Patri Guizaro, Lindsay Hips, Lauren James, Chloe Kelly, Iwa Pajr, Claudio Pina, Alexia Puteas, Alecia Russo, and Liam Williams.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been excluded from the FIFA World Cup since departing from their European clubs. Major tournaments like the World Cup often reignite their chances of winning such individual accolades. Neither player appears on the list of top candidates, despite being regarded as the best in the world. The 11th player of the year will be selected from the 88th edition, which features 22 forwards, including Messi and Ronaldo.

Lewis Enrique (men) and Sarina Weigman (women) were recognized as the best coaches during the Ballon d’Or ceremony. Under Enrique's leadership, PSG clinched the Champions League title, while Weigman's England team emerged as the ultimate champions in the recent Women's European Championship.

Both individuals have received nominations for the Coach of the Year award. The nominees for the men's football category include Javier Aguire, Michael Arteta, Luis Enrique, Hansey Flick, Enzo Maresca, Roberto Martinez, and Erne Slots.

Sonia Bomster, Jonathan Giraldez, Seb Heins, René Sleighers, and Sarina Weigman are also contenders for the Women's Football Coach of the Year award.
