FIFA has initiated the second phase of ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup by making an additional 1 million tickets available through a new ticket draw that opened on Monday.
This draw runs until Friday and includes a period of domestic exclusivity for residents of the three host countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Fans from these nations whose entries are selected will get a chance to buy single-match tickets for games played in their respective home country.
The COO of the tournament highlighted this exclusivity slot as a way to thank local fans while still ensuring global opportunities for ticket purchases.
Selected fans from the US, Canada, and Mexico will be randomly given a time slot between November 12 and November 15 to buy tickets. Host country residents were the top buyers in the initial ticketing phase.
