An election meeting and prayer mahfil took place in Lohagara, Narail, organized by the National People's Party (NPP). The event was held at the Lohagara Upazila party office of the NPP's Lohagara Upazila branch at 11 am on Monday, November 3. The meeting and prayer mahfil were chaired by Md. Hafizur Rahman, the president of the NPP Lohagara Upazila branch. Dr. Fariduzzaman Farhad, the Chairman of the National People's Party (NPP) and Coordinator of the Nationalist Like-Minded Alliance, served as the chief guest during the event. Attendees included Narail District BNP Organizing Secretary Md. Tipu Sultan, NPP Narail District Branch President Sharif Munir Hossain, District Women's Party General Secretary Saleh Begum, Municipal BNP Joint General Secretary Musa Molya, NPP Lohagara Upazila Branch President Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, General Secretary Badiyar Rahman, Joint General Secretary Kazi Ziaur Rahman Lotus, NPP Dighlia Union Branch President Rezaul Khan, NPP Women's Leader Babita Khanam, Publicity Secretary Syed Kibria, Student Leader Farhad, among others. Following the election meeting, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, the NPP Lohagara Upazila Branch President, led a prayer for the soul of the late politician Tariqul Islam, who was a former minister and a key figure in the development of South Bengal.
