Microbus Stolen from Lohagara

A microbus, valued at approximately 10 lakh Taka, has been stolen from a house in Chachai-Dhanair village under Joypur Union of Lohagara Upazila, Narail district, after thieves broke down the door.

The owner of the stolen vehicle has filed a complaint at the Lohagara Police Station regarding the incident, which occurred around 3 AM on Wednesday, October 14.

Jamal Khandaker, the owner of the microbus, recounted that his family woke up late Tuesday night to the sound of the vehicle starting. Upon rushing outside, they saw the microbus, which had been parked in the courtyard, being driven away rapidly. Despite immediate searches by family members and locals, the microbus could not be traced.

Following the incident, the affected owner, Jamal Khandaker, filed a written complaint at the Lohagara Police Station on Wednesday morning.

Regarding the matter, Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shariful Islam stated, "The police visited the scene immediately after the theft was reported, and investigation activities are currently underway."
