A farmer has passed away from a heart attack while working on his paddy fields in Niamatpur, Naogaon. This tragic event occurred at approximately 5:30 pm on Sunday, November 2, in Bhabichha Beel, located within the Bhabichha Union of the upazila.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Mannan, aged 55, who resided in the village of Bhabichha (Jhaljhaliapara) within the upazila.
Local sources report that all the paddy in Bhabichha Beel was inundated due to heavy rains last Friday night. The water level had receded slightly by yesterday. Bystanders did not notice his struggle until it was too late, and he was found lifeless after they entered the water to search for him. Witnesses believe he suffered a heart attack after entering the water.
