On Monday, November 3 afternoon, the party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names of the candidates at a press conference at BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's political office in Gulshan in the capital.

Ahead of the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections, the central BNP has announced candidates for 4 of the 5 parliamentary constituencies in Pabna in the primary list of candidates announced. The central BNP has not named any candidate in the Pabna-1 constituency. BNP policymakers have said that a decision will be taken in this regard later.

On Monday, November 3 afternoon, the party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names of the candidates at a press conference at BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's political office in Gulshan in the capital.

Those who have received Dhaner Sheesh nominations in 4 of the 5 parliamentary constituencies in Pabna are: former MP Advocate AKM Selim Reza Habib in Pabna-2 (Sujanagar) constituency, agriculturalist Hasan Zafir Tuhin in Pabna-3 (Chatmohar-Bhangura and Faridpur) constituency, Habibur Rahman Habib in Pabna-4 (Iswardi-Atgharia) constituency, and Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, special assistant to the BNP Chairperson in Pabna-5 (Sadar) constituency. Meanwhile, as no BNP candidate has been announced in Pabna-1 (Santhiyya) constituency, there is ongoing analysis among the leaders and activists.

After the release of the possible primary nomination list of BNP across the country from the central BNP, there is a lot of conflicting post comments between leaders and supporters on social media.

Meanwhile, in Pabna-3 (Chatmohar-Bhangura and Faridpur) constituency, there has been a storm of discussion and criticism since the announcement of the candidate of Hasan Jafir Tuhin, a resident of Pabna-2 (Sujanagar) constituency (currently taking citizenship in Pabna-3 constituency), excluding local defector leaders. The leaders and activists of Pabna-3 constituency claim that they want candidates from the local level, whether new or old.

Since the announcement of this candidate by BNP on Monday afternoon, there has been a shadow of sadness among the leaders and activists in Pabna-3 constituency. They claim that there are many defector leaders like the long-time defector leader, former MP KM Anwarul Islam or his contemporaries. Who have been strengthening BNP politics in this region for a long time.

Although the opinions of the nominated candidates were immediately contacted, their opinions were not available. However, after searching the constituencies, it was found that the leaders and activists got the candidate of their choice. Their opinion is that the party will work for the candidate they nominate and hope that they will win.
