


The Pakistan Under-19 Women's team secured a winning start to their five-match T20 series, defeating the Bangladesh Under-19 Women's team by 13 runs in a closely fought first game at the Cox's Bazar Cricket Academy Ground on Wednesday.
Opting to bat first, Pakistan was bowled out for a low total of 88 in 19.4 overs, with captain Eman Naseer top-scoring with 30. However, the Pakistani bowlers mounted a brilliant defense, restricting Bangladesh to just 75 in 19.5 overs.
Shahad Banu was the star bowler for Pakistan, claiming figures of 3-27, while Rozina Akram and Memoona Khalid contributed with two wickets each. For Bangladesh, only opener Aritry Nirjona (20) and captain Sadia Akter (16) reached notable scores.
Pakistan leads the series 1-0. The second T20 match will be held at the same venue tomorrow.
