In an effort to promote BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's proposed "31-Point Structural Reform Plan", leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) carried out a leaflet distribution campaign in support of the party's election symbol, the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’, in various areas of Kamarkhand upazila, Sirajganj.
The campaign took place on Monday afternoon (October 15) in the Jamtail Road area, led by Mirza Mostafa Zaman, Organizing Secretary of Sirajganj District BNP and a former student leader.
Speakers at the event stated that the 31-point reform agenda is crucial for restoring democracy, ensuring the rule of law, and reclaiming the people's voting rights. They emphasized that a transparent, accountable, and people-centric state structure can only be achieved through the victory of the Sheaf of Paddy.
“People are now united in their desire for justice, an independent judiciary, and true democracy,” said Zaman. “BNP is the symbol of public hope, and the Sheaf of Paddy is the tool for change.”
Leaflets were handed out to pedestrians, shoppers, and local residents, many of whom received them with interest and expressed support for the BNP. The area became vibrant with party slogans and the presence of activists.
Leaders concluded the program by urging the administration to ensure a peaceful electoral environment and to safeguard the voting rights of the people.
