New Schedule Set for Subordinate Courts in Bangladesh

Subordinate courts and tribunals across the country will operate under a new schedule, according to a notification issued by the Judicial Branch of the High Court Division.

Under the revised timings, courts will run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. A 30-minute break for Zuhr prayers and lunch will be observed from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

The notification was published on the Supreme Court website on Sunday (April 5). It was issued by High Court Division Registrar (Judiciary) Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman following the Chief Justice’s directive.

The new schedule will remain in effect until further notice. Weekly holidays on Fridays and Saturdays will continue as usual.
