Held at a city hotel, the event brought together key figures from Bangladesh's medical tourism, healthcare, and corporate sectors to discuss bilateral cooperation.
The gathering featured prominent attendees, including International Medical Tourism Owners Forum (IMTOF) President Kazi Ariful Hasan and General Secretary Arafat Islam (Rupak), alongside local business leaders.
Discussions focused on strengthening international healthcare ties, streamlining patient referral processes, and improving coordination for Bangladeshi patients seeking advanced treatment abroad.
"This platform is vital for practical collaboration," said Arafat Islam (Rupak), General Secretary of IMTOF and Founder of MediTrip Global. "It helps ensure that Bangladeshi patients can access international-standard medical services through sustainable partnerships with Malaysia."
Tarek Abdullah, Director of JG HealthCare—the event organizer—emphasized that the initiative aims to build a stronger presence in the South Asian market. He noted the goal is to provide reliable and accessible medical options for local patients through strategic partnerships.
