India is dedicated to providing quality and affordable healthcare to Bangladeshi citizens, stated Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma.

He made the remarks at a signing ceremony between Bangladesh’s Rhythm Group and India’s Manipal Hospital, held at a hotel in Dhaka on Thursday (April 23).

"We aim to collaborate on enhancing Bangladesh's medical sector capacity," Verma said. "Simultaneously, we remain committed to ensuring that Bangladeshis have access to high-standard and cost-effective treatment in India."

The High Commissioner also urged the private sectors of both nations to better organize the medical tourism industry. He emphasized the need to build further confidence among patients seeking specialized treatment in Indian hospitals.
