


The Bhutanese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Dasho Karma Hamu Dorji, visited the Pangaon Inland Container Terminal (PICT) on Sunday to explore trade opportunities.
Upon arrival, the Ambassador was received by Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, Member (Harbor and Marine) of the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA).
During the visit, Ambassador Dorji observed terminal operations firsthand and received a comprehensive briefing on its logistical capabilities. Expressing satisfaction with the facilities, the Ambassador noted that Pangaon ICT could significantly streamline Bhutan’s import-export trade.
The visit concluded with an exchange of views aimed at strengthening coordination between Bhutanese trade interests and Bangladeshi port authorities.
The delegation included Terminal Manager Golam Md. Sarwar, Pangaon ICT Terminal Manager Md. Ashraf Karim Chowdhury, Pangaon Customs House Commissioner Bashir Ahmed, and Medlog Bangladesh CCO Anisul Haque, along with other senior officials.
