The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a firm reminder that only official "Hajj visas" are valid for performing the pilgrimage. This directive applies to all international pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom.
In a statement released Sunday, April 12, the ministry clarified that any other entry permits—including visit, transit, Umrah, or tourist visas—do not authorize the holder to participate in Hajj rituals. Authorities confirmed that individuals attempting to perform Hajj with these documents will be denied entry to holy sites.
For Saudi citizens and residents, the process remains internal. Local pilgrims must secure a Hajj permit exclusively through the official 'Nusuk' application.
The ministry urged all prospective pilgrims to use only authorized channels for bookings, warning against fraudulent agencies or unofficial platforms promising Hajj access through alternative visas.
