Pabna Press Club Starts Construction of Second Auditorium

The construction of a second auditorium on the third floor of the historic Pabna Press Club was officially inaugurated on Sunday afternoon.

Mohammad Zahurul Islam Bishu Administrator of the Pabna District Council led the foundation-laying ceremony.

Following the inauguration, a discussion meeting was held in the club’s VIP auditorium. Presided over by Pabna Press Club President Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar the event featured District Council Administrator Bishu as the chief guest.

Speakers at the event included Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Mahfuza Sultana former Press Club President Professor Shibjit Nag and General Secretary Zahurul Islam.

The speakers emphasized that the new facility will enhance the club's capacity to host cultural and professional exchange programs. Senior journalists and local leaders also attended the ceremony marking a significant milestone for the district's media community.
