


Iran has claimed that more than 200 US military personnel were killed or wounded during strikes on several American military installations across the Middle East over the past 24 hours.
A spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Zolfaghari, announced the figures on Saturday. According to a report by the state-linked outlet Pars Today, the official stated that "destructive attacks" are being carried out continuously against US infrastructure and assets in the region.
The Iranian military provided specific details regarding the targets and casualties. Al Dhafra Air Base (UAE) Iran claims approximately 200 personnel were killed or injured. US Navy's Fifth Fleet (Bahrain) Officials reported at least 21 US sailors killed and several others wounded.
Maritime Strike An attack was reportedly carried out on a US-owned oil tanker in the northern Persian Gulf, with further casualties cited.
IRGC Warns of "Six-Month War"
In a separate statement to the Fars News Agency, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naeini commented on Iran’s strategic endurance. He asserted that the Iranian armed forces possess the capability to sustain a "fierce war" at its current intensity for at least six months.
The claims come amid a significant escalation in regional hostilities following joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian military and nuclear facilities on February 28, 2024—a campaign dubbed Operation Epic Fury by Washington.
