At least eight people were killed and several others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Sylhet’s Osmaninagar upazila on Friday morning.

The collision occurred in the early hours of Friday August 7, 2026 . Local emergency services and residents quickly initiated rescue efforts transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
