


Thailand's internationally renowned coffee chain Cafe Amazon has officially launched its commercial operations in Bangladesh. Supervised by the Bashundhara Group, the brand marks its entry into the local market with a flagship outlet.
The official grand inauguration took place on Thursday 6 August split into two phases. The first phase began at 11:30 am at Cafe Amazon's flagship store in the Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital. The high-profile event was attended by prominent figures including Sayem Sobhan Anvir Chairman of Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG) Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan Managing Director of Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG) Thitiporn Chirasawadi Ambassador of the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka Anusorn Kautipvittaya Minister Counsellor (Commercial) of the Royal Thai Embassy and Pojjana Paniangvait President of the Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The second phase of the launch is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Thursday at the Bashundhara City Shopping Mall. Open to the public and coffee enthusiasts, this afternoon event will feature traditional Thai cultural performances and entertainment programmes welcoming Bangladeshis to experience Thailand’s premier coffee brand.
