


In celebration of the 71st birthday of the esteemed banshee player Bari Siddique, a beloved figure among the people, the Bari Siddique Smriti Parishad held a memorial service. This event, which took place at the Central Kachikanchar Mela Auditorium on November 17, included a tribute to notable personalities and a discussion in memory of Bari Siddique.
Firoz Haider Khan, a prominent industrialist, served as the chief guest. The program was inaugurated by Noor Nabi, with vocalist Robi Chowdhury attending as a special guest.
Liaquat Ali, the Senior Joint Convener of the Central Committee of Jasas, was the main discussant, while Dr. Khan Asaduzzaman presided over the proceedings. Nayak D.A. Tayeb was highlighted as the main attraction of the event.
Masum Billah Rakib, a journalist from the Daily JaiJaidin newspaper, received a special honor from the Bari Siddique Smriti Parishad, expressing his excitement about this recognition.
In his remarks to the media, he stated, "Receiving the Bari Siddiqui Award is a source of pride and honor for me. As a journalist, I am delighted to accept this award, which will remain a significant memory in my life. I also extend my gratitude to the Bari Siddiqui Memorial Council for organizing this event so wonderfully." The event featured performances by popular artists including Shafi Mondal, Shahnaz Beli, Alam Ara Minu, Ashraf Udas, Mujib Pardeshi, Nolak Babu, Salma, Beauty, Rajib, and Prince Alamgir, among others.
