


The upazila administration hosted the monthly law and order meeting for July 2026 to evaluate and maintain security across Kalia Upazila in Narail.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Jinnatul Islam presided over the session at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom on Tuesday (July 21).
Key attendees included Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sraboni Biswas, Kalia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Idris Ali and Agriculture Officer Md. Jahangir Alam. Local political leaders, including Municipal BNP President Sheikh Selim Hossain Acting General Secretary Sheikh Shihabuddin and Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Sardar Armistang, were also present alongside Union Parishad chairmen and government officials.
Participants reviewed the upazila's current security landscape emphasizing the need for coordinated action among the administration law enforcement and the public. Core priorities discussed included combating drug abuse preventing thefts and robberies, and ensuring overall public safety.
Speakers urged residents to actively cooperate with ongoing administrative and police efforts to build a safer, crime-free community.
