The Louhajang Upazila Law and Order Committee held its monthly coordination meeting on Monday with placing a strong emphasis on drug eradication and maintaining social stability across the region.

Chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Farzana Bobby Mitu the session took place at the Upazila Parishad meeting room in Munshiganj. Attendees held extensive discussions on the area's current law and order situation also identifying the immediate need for effective, coordinated measures to curb drug abuse and ensure public safety.

Rather than working in isolation the meeting brought together various stakeholders to foster a unified administrative approach. Key participants at the session included:

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Erfanur Rahman, Upazila Health Officer Dr. Humayun Rajib and respective officers from the agriculture, livestock, public health and social services departments.

Officers-in-Charge from both the Louhajang and Padma Bridge (North) police stations, alongside representatives from the Naval Police, Tourist Police, Coast Guard, Fire Service and Ansar.

Local union panel chairmen, various press club presidents and journalists as well as representatives from the Islamic Foundation and Village Court.

The collaborative presence of administrative heads, law enforcement and local media highlights a comprehensive, community-driven effort to tackle crime and ensure a stable environment in Louhajang.
