US Strikes Iranian Military Sites to Secure Hormuz Strait

The United States military completed a new series of targeted strikes against Iranian military installations on Monday night. The operation aimed to neutralize Tehran’s capacity to disrupt commercial shipping in the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), American forces targeted Iranian military command centers maritime assets air defense systems and launch sites for missiles and drones.

In a public statement CENTCOM emphasized that these strikes were specifically executed to degrade Iran's ability to continue attacking commercial vessels navigating this critical global trade route.
