On the first anniversary of the tragic 2025 Milestone School and College air crash Dr. Zubaida Rahman praised the victims teachers and parents for their inspiring courage and humanity.

Speaking as the chief guest at a memorial event at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery the Prime Minister's wife and Vice-President of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation honored the 36 people, including 28 students who lost their lives when a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed into the school in Uttara.

"The example of courage compassion and sacrifice that the country and the world have witnessed during this difficult time is rare in history," Dr. Rahman stated emphasizing that the true beauty of humanity lies in coming together during a crisis.

She offered her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, remembering the students teachers and flight crew who perished. Dr. Rahman noted that the resilience and morale of the surviving students and teachers serve as a powerful inspiration for the entire nation.
