


Khan Wahiduzzaman Bablu, a prominent social worker, educationist, and freedom fighter, passed away at the age of 73 while undergoing treatment in Dhaka on Friday.
He had been suffering from age-related complications, including high blood pressure. At the time of his death, he left behind his wife, a son, three daughters, and numerous well-wishers. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in various social and educational initiatives across Dhaka, Narail, and Lohagara.
His funeral prayers (Janaza) were held on Saturday afternoon at the Panchuria Government Primary School premises. Following the prayers, he was laid to rest with full state honours.
Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate Shammi Kaiser led the state Guard of Honour. Local political leaders, lawyers, social workers, and residents from all walks of life attended the funeral to pay their final respects.
