Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmad has stated that the people of Bangladesh will not accept the politics of those involved in genocide and crimes against humanity, especially those who express no remorse for such offenses.
He made these remarks on Friday (August 7) morning while attending the inauguration ceremony of newly constructed flats by the Cox's Bazar Development Authority. Later, the Minister participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Cox's Bazar Medical College Hospital building.
Speaking at the event, the Home Minister noted that a certain group is attempting to create instability in Bangladesh from abroad. However, he asserted that such efforts would yield no results.
He emphasized that those responsible for genocide and crimes against humanity, who remain unrepentant and have not sought forgiveness from the people, will find no acceptance for their politics among the citizens of Bangladesh.
