The state will be run in the coming days under the leadership of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, said Jamaat's Central Working Committee member and Jamaat's nominated MP candidate for Lakshmipur-3 constituency Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim.

He said, "We don't want to be rulers, we don't want to be powerful. Our Ameer-e-Jamaat is a humane leader. Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said we want to serve the people of this country as servants."

He said these things while addressing a road meeting in the Matha area of Mia Road in Lakshmipur town on Friday (October 31) evening.

Rezaul Karim also said, are you ready to vote for us on that scale to support us, to establish a society of justice based on the Quran, a society of We One Justice, a society of justice, an extortionist-free society, a society free from plunder, a society of development? If you vote for us, we will not give you a card, I swear to God that we will carry all the benefits of a state like Omar on our shoulders and deliver them to your homes, InshaAllah.

The road meeting was presided over by the city Jamaat Ameer Advocate Abul Farah Nishan, and was attended by the District Jasayat's Assistant Secretary Maulana Nasir Uddin Mahmud, city Nayeb Ameer Maulana Zahirul Islam and others.
