Global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez have become among the first owners of ultra-private residences at "The Red Sea," Saudi Arabia’s premier luxury tourism megaproject.
Red Sea Global (RSG) confirmed on Tuesday that the couple has purchased two villas within the exclusive Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve—one of only nine such locations in the world.
The investment includes a two-bedroom villa designed for private getaways and a three-bedroom villa for family stays. Ronaldo expressed that he and Georgina felt an immediate "connection" to the island's natural beauty and serenity. John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, welcomed the couple, noting that their decision highlights the destination's appeal to those seeking high-end privacy combined with nature.
The Red Sea Project: A Vision 2030 Landmark
The Red Sea destination is a massive "regenerative tourism" project spanning 28,000 square kilometers. Part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the blueprint features in 50 Hotels and 1,000+ Luxury Properties across 22 islands and 6 inland sites.
Nujuma Ritz-Carlton Reserve: Features only 19 private villas, offering "360-degree" views of white sand and turquoise waters. Supported by the Red Sea International Airport, the site is accessible to 85% of the world's population within an eight-hour flight.
Since its first resort opened in 2023, the destination has rapidly expanded with openings from St. Regis, Six Senses, and Shebara, positioning itself as a global hub for billionaires and luxury travelers.
