The Dhaka District Administration has recovered 0.1459 acres (approximately 14.6 decimals) of government khas land worth around Tk 21 crore from an illegal occupation inside a housing project in the capital.
The recovered property is located at Road 01, Sector 02, Block 'M' under the Aftabnagar area layout plan of Eastern Housing Ltd, within the North Nandipara mouza under Badda Police Station.
According to official records, the land falls under City Khatian No. 01 and City Dag No. 1718 of North Nandipara mouza. Its current estimated market value stands at Tk 21,00,00,000 (Twenty-One Crore Taka).
On September 3, 2026, officials and staff from the Demra Revenue Circle conducted an drive on-site, evicting the illegal occupants and officially establishing government control over the land by installing ownership signboards.
District administration officials stated that such enforcement drives will continue to protect public land and government interests across the capital.
