Robert Pattinson and Oasis frontmen Noel and Liam Gallagher arrived on the Lido Saturday for high-profile world premieres at the Venice Film Festival both films set for U.S. theaters this September.

Pattinson stars in "Primetime" which explores reality series "To Catch a Predator" and host Chris Hansen during its peak on Dateline NBC. Written by Ajon Singh and directed by Lance Oppenheim also the film is based on journalist Luke Dittrich's Esquire article about a 2006 sting operation that led to a Texas assistant district attorney's suicide as television cameras filmed outside his home. Oppenheim said he aimed to portray "disparate ambitions" converging into crisis. Hansen, uninvolved in the film's production has publicly criticized the project and declined to sign an NDA to preview it before release. It hits theaters September 25.

The Gallagher brothers are promoting "Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger" a documentary chronicling their 2025 reunion tour and long-standing feud that led to the band's 2009 split. Co-directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace said they aimed to capture both the brothers' reconciliation and the enduring power of Oasis's music featuring previously unseen rehearsal footage and the pair's first joint interview in 25 years. The documentary releases in IMAX on September 11 before streaming on Disney+ later this year.

Both premieres add to a star-studded festival that has already featured George Clooney's lifetime achievement honor and an emotional reception for John Malkovich's performance in "Wild Horse Nine." For Pattinson, "Primetime" continues a strong year following acclaimed roles in "The Drama" and "The Odyssey" with "Dune: Part Three" still ahead.
