Md. Ashraf Ali Howlader, uncle of journalist Md. Mizanur Rahman, passed away at the age of 84 while undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College Hospital at midnight on Monday.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, a daughter, and many well-wishers.
His funeral prayer (Janaza) was held today, Tuesday (December 23), at 10:00 am at the Abdus Salam Waqf Estate Jame Mosque, followed by burial in his family graveyard. Prominent leaders, including Shamim Sayedee, Ahmed Sohel Manjur, and Amir Hossain, expressed deep condolences, praising his character and praying for his eternal peace.
