In a joint operation in Bhola, the Coast Guard and police have arrested 1 person named Md. Russell (37) along with 1 foreign pistol, 3 domestic firearms, 2 domestic firearm barrels, 2 rounds of cartridges and 3 domestic weapons.

On Sunday (December 28) afternoon, Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq confirmed this information and said, Based on a secret information, on Sunday, December 28 at 4 am, Coast Guard Base Bhola and police conducted a joint operation in the area adjacent to Sharif Bazar under Sadar Police Station of Bhola and arrested 1 person along with 1 foreign pistol, 3 domestic firearms, 2 domestic firearm barrels, 3 domestic weapons and 2 rounds of cartridges.

The process of taking further legal action against the seized evidence and the arrested person is under process.
