Popular singer Xefer Rahman and television host Rafsan Sabab have officially married, putting an end to months of public speculation. The wedding took place on Thursday at a private resort in Aminbazar, on the outskirts of the capital.

The festivities were held in two phases: a traditional Gaye Holud in the morning followed by the formal wedding ceremony in the evening. The event was an intimate affair, attended by close family members and colleagues from the entertainment industry.

While invitations were sent out in advance, the couple maintained their signature privacy throughout the lead-up to the big day. When contacted earlier, Xefer declined to comment, adhering to her long-standing practice of keeping her personal life away from the limelight.

Following the ceremony, Rafsan Sabab confirmed the union on social media. "Seeking your blessings as we begin our journey, surrounded by the love of our friends and family," he wrote on Facebook.

Friends of the couple noted that the relationship grew organically from a long-standing professional and personal friendship.

For nearly a year, rumors about the duo had circulated after they were spotted traveling together, notably in Thailand in mid-2024. Until now, both had consistently described their bond as strictly professional.

This is the second marriage for Rafsan Sabab, who announced the end of his three-year marriage to physician Sania Esha in late 2023. With the exchange of vows today, the couple has turned long-running gossip into a formal celebration of their partnership.
