Popular singer Xefer Rahman and television host Rafsan Sabab are set to marry tomorrow, Wednesday, ending months of intense public speculation regarding their relationship.

The couple will formalize their union in a private ceremony at a resort in Aminbazar, on the outskirts of Dhaka. Invitations have already been sent to close family, friends, and colleagues from the music and television industries.

Rumors of a romance between the two had circulated for over a year. While spotted together frequently both in Bangladesh and abroad—including a widely discussed sighting at a Bangkok mall in mid-2025—both had previously maintained they were simply "close friends."

Speculation surrounding the pair intensified following Rafsan’s divorce from his previous wife. Xefer had consistently declined to comment on her personal life, previously expressing frustration over social media assumptions regarding her marriage and future.

The transition from a long-standing friendship to marriage marks a significant new chapter for two of the most prominent faces in Bangladesh’s contemporary entertainment scene.
