Tarique Rahman Arrives at Jamuna with Family for Courtesy Meeting with Chief Adviser

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has arrived at the state guest house Jamuna along with his family for a courtesy meeting with Chief Adviser of the interim government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

He reached Jamuna at around 7:30 pm on Thursday. Accompanying him were his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman and his daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman.

This is the first meeting between Tarique Rahman and the Chief Adviser since he assumed the post of BNP Chairman. Although the two leaders had previously held a one-on-one meeting in London last year, this marks their first official meeting after Tarique Rahman’s return to the country. The meeting is being viewed as politically significant in national circles.
