


RAB-11 has apprehended Yusuf Ali, the primary suspect in the murder of a businessman named Anwar Hossain, who was fatally attacked inside a shop in Ramganj, Laxmipur.
This information was provided by RAB 11 Company Commander Mithun Kumar Kundu during a press briefing at the Press Club in the city on Wednesday morning, November 26.
During the press briefing, it was revealed that Yusuf engaged in a dispute with businessman Anwar after he declined to pay the outstanding balance in Ramganj. At one point, Yusuf lured him into the shop, where he assaulted him with a sharp weapon, striking him in the chest and stomach. Subsequently, Yusuf fled the scene. Local residents came to Anwar's aid and transported him to the Upazila Health Complex, where he succumbed to his injuries. Following this incident, Anwar's wife, Farzana Akhter Sathi, filed a case naming one individual as the plaintiff and 3 to 4 unidentified individuals as the accused.
RAB 11 executed a raid in the Nikunja area of Dhaka after verifying the location through confidential information and arrested the main suspect, Yusuf. He has since been transferred to Ramganj Police Station for further legal action.
