Md. Ataur Rahman Bachchu, Member of Parliament for Narail-2 and District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, officially inaugurated a volunteer paddy harvesting program for underprivileged farmers this Boro season.

The program began early Saturday morning at Daljitpur village in Shahabad Union, Narail Sadar. MP Bachchu joined volunteers in the field, symbolically starting the harvest with a sickle.

Speaking at the event, MP Bachchu urged people from all walks of life to support farmers during the harvest. "We must stand together to ease the hardships of our farmers. Such initiatives revive our rural values and compassion," he said. He added that Jamaat-e-Islami volunteers would continue to assist helpless farmers across various areas by harvesting and delivering their crops.

Local leaders confirmed that this volunteer effort will persist throughout the Boro season to ensure poor farmers can safely bring their produce home.

The inauguration was attended by Narail Sadar Upazila Jamaat Ameer Hafez Maulana Abdullah Al Amin, local agriculture officials, and several union-level leaders.
