Acting President Pays Tribute at Savar National Memorial

Acting President Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed paid his respects to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Memorial in Savar on Sunday.

Arriving at approximately 11:30 a.m., he received a state salute from a designated contingent of the armed forces as a mournful bugle tune played. Following the tribute, the Acting President signed the official visitors' book on the memorial premises. He was accompanied by senior government, civil, and military administration officials.
