Acting President Hafiz Uddin Pays Tribute at Zia Udyan

Acting President Hafiz Uddin Ahmed paid tribute to martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia by laying wreaths at their graves in Dhaka’s Zia Udyan on Sunday.

Accompanied by State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Ishraq Hossain, the Acting President arrived at 12:30 pm. Authorities enforced strict security measures for the visit deploying a large contingent of law enforcement officers throughout the park and surrounding areas.

Earlier in the day, at 11:30 am the Acting President also paid his respects at the National Memorial in Savar.
