Mohammad Noman Mia, Jatiya Party Central Vice Chairman and candidate for the Munshiganj-2 (Louhajang-Tongibari) constituency, has pledged to eliminate unemployment and establish a drug-free, modern educational environment in the region.
Launching his campaign on Thursday, Noman Mia conducted a series of rallies starting from the Kumarbhog Rehabilitation Center in Louhajang. He later held view-exchange meetings with voters at Ghoradaur, Baligaon, Chandrabari, Kamarkhara, and Dighirpar markets.
During his speeches, Noman Mia called for a united front against corruption and terrorism. "We must say no to drugs on the soil of Munshiganj-2. To build a society free from hunger and poverty, we must work shoulder to shoulder," he told supporters.
He emphasized that the Jatiya Party remains the only alternative for restoring people's rights and fulfilling the vision of a self-reliant Bangladesh, as envisioned by the party's founder, Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
Noman Mia stressed that the development of Louhajang and Tongibari depends on "honest, competent, and ethical leadership." He promised that if elected, his primary focus would be upgrading civic amenities and ensuring that every youth has access to modern, employment-oriented education.
While distributing leaflets and seeking votes for the 'Plough' (Langol) symbol, he urged the public to choose leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the ordinary citizen over personal gain.
