Jatiyatabadi Volunteer Party Leader Musabbir Killed in Shooting

Former general secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Volunteer Party Azizur Rahman Musabbir was shot dead by miscreants. Another person named Anwar Hossain was injured in the incident.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on them in the Tejturi Bazar area behind Bashundhara Market in the capital after 8pm on Wednesday. The two were taken to BRB Hospital with gunshot wounds, where doctors declared Mushabbir dead.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Tejgaon Division ADC Fazlul Karim confirmed the incident and said the shooting took place in an alley next to Star Kabab. Police have launched an investigation to identify the cause of the attack and those involved.
