Shantiganj Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami organized an Iftar and Doa Mahfil on Wednesday evening at a community center in Shantiganj Bazar. The event was held under the theme of achieving taqwa and implementing Islamic principles in daily life.

The program was presided over by Shantiganj Upazila Jamaat Ameer, Hafiz Abu Khaled. Adv. Yasin Khan, Ameer of Sylhet Metropolitan Professional Jamaat, attended as the chief guest and discussed the spiritual significance of Ramadan.

Special guests included Sunamganj District Jamaat Education Secretary Principal Abul Kalam Azad and former Shantiganj Upazila Parishad Chairman and BNP leader Faruk Ahmed.

Other speakers included Shantiganj Upazila Jamaat Social Service Secretary Tajul Islam and Chhatra Shibir Upazila President Afsar Uddin. The gathering was attended by members of Jamaat-e-Islami, BNP, Chhatra Shibir, and local residents from various professions.

The event concluded with a special prayer led by Principal Abul Kalam Azad.
