


Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members seized 28 bottles of Indian Phensedyl at the Porsha border in Naogaon on Wednesday night.
Acting on a tip-off, an anti-smuggling patrol team from Nitpur BOP (16 BGB Naogaon Battalion), led by Havildar Al-Amin, conducted a raid at approximately 8:00 PM. The narcotics were recovered in an abandoned state from the Dhawapara Mango Garden in the Tektha area, located about one kilometer inside Bangladesh territory near Main Pillar 231.
The estimated market value of the seized Phensedyl is 11,200 BDT. Subedar Sheikh Abdul Jabbar, Company Commander of Nitpur BOP, confirmed the seizure and stated that the narcotics have been deposited at the Porsha Police Station for further legal action.
