PM Orders Launch of 'e-Health' Cards to Universalize Medical Services

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has directed the Ministry of Health to launch 'e-health' cards to ensure accessible medical services for all citizens. The directive came during a high-level meeting with the Health Minister, state ministers, and health experts at the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday afternoon.

Following the session, Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon briefed the media, stating that the Prime Minister has issued specific instructions to initiate the card's rollout immediately.

The move aligns with the government's core policy of bringing healthcare directly to the doorsteps of the people. The Prime Minister urged ministry officials to accelerate their efforts and remain proactive in digitalizing the nation’s health infrastructure.
