Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed a special cooperation plan to help Middle Eastern partners counter Iranian drone and missile threats.
In a post on social media, Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready to send technical experts to the Gulf region to assist allies in strengthening defenses against attacks linked to Iran.
He said discussions were held with leaders of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar on Tuesday, followed by talks with Jordan and Bahrain on Wednesday.
Zelenskyy has instructed Ukrainian officials to prepare a detailed plan to support these partners while ensuring that Ukraine’s own defense capabilities are not weakened.
According to the Ukrainian president, such cooperation could help save lives and contribute to stability in the region.
