Prime Minister Tarique Rahman surprised students and teachers at BIAM Laboratory School in New Eskaton on Saturday morning, following a formal foundation stone-laying ceremony.
The Prime Minister’s unexpected visit turned into an impromptu meet-and-greet. According to Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the Prime Minister spent significant time interacting with the children, who greeted him with immense enthusiasm.
Students rushed to shake hands and collect autographs as the Prime Minister moved through the classrooms. During these interactions, he encouraged the students to balance their academic pursuits with sports and physical activities.
"The Prime Minister’s presence brought a wave of joy to the campus," said one faculty member. "Seeing his easy rapport with the children was truly heartening for all of us."
Earlier that morning, the Prime Minister attended the BIAM Foundation Auditorium to lay the foundation stone for the Foundation's Training-cum-Dormitory Building. The ceremony was presided over by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani. High-ranking officials in attendance included Prime Minister's Advisor Ismail Zabiullah, Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, and BIAM Director General Abdul Malek.
