Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to implementing every clause of the "July Charter" during a foundation stone-laying ceremony for the BIAM Foundation’s new auditorium on Saturday.
Addressing public administration officials, the Prime Minister emphasized that the current administration is a direct reflection of the people’s long-standing desire for just, welfare-oriented governance.
"The mass uprising of July 2024 proved once again that the citizens are the true owners of the state," the Prime Minister stated. "Therefore, the primary responsibility of every government official is to safeguard the interests and welfare of the people."
Merit-Based Administration Appointments, transfers, and promotions are now strictly governed by talent, skill, and experience rather than political affiliation.
Modernization The government is prioritizing modern training and the optimal use of technology to build a confident, creative, and responsible workforce.
Accountability To build a "discrimination-free Bangladesh," transparency and accountability must be enforced across all levels of the state machinery.
People-First Approach There is no alternative to a people-friendly public administration in achieving the nation’s development goals.
The Prime Minister concluded by noting that after fifteen years, the restoration of voting rights has empowered the public to elect a government dedicated to their service.
