Offset Released from Hospital Following Florida Shooting

American rapper Offset has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering after being shot in Florida last Monday.

The artist is reportedly in stable condition and making steady progress. In a social media update, Offset expressed gratitude to his supporters and shared his focus for the future.

"I am now focusing on my family, health, and getting back to music," Offset wrote. Reflecting on the incident, he added, "I understand there are both wins and loud losses in life... Life is a gamble, and I am still playing to win."

A spokesperson told Variety that the rapper is now mobile and thanked the medical team for his care.

The shooting occurred near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. While police have arrested two individuals in connection with the shooting, the investigation remains active.

In a separate development that same night, rapper Lil Tjay was arrested on disorderly conduct charges and booked into Broward County Jail. Upon his release the following day, Lil Tjay made disparaging remarks toward Offset.

However, Lil Tjay’s attorney, Don M. Florio, strictly denied any connection to the shooting involving Offset. "Lil Tjay was not shot, and he has not been charged in any shooting. All such reports are false," Florio stated.
