7 Killed in Head-on Collision in Sylhet’s South Surma

At least seven people died Sunday morning after a truck and a pickup collided head-on near the Telibazar Bridge in South Surma, Sylhet.

The victims, all construction workers, were traveling toward Sunamganj in a pickup truck when the accident occurred on the highway. Police confirmed that the impact of the collision killed all seven individuals on the spot.

Sylhet Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (South) Md. Riazul Kabir confirmed the fatalities. Emergency services are currently on-site, and further details are expected as the investigation continues.
